New hope for endometriosis pain: phase 3 trial underway

Summary

This Phase 3 study tests whether a new drug, KLH-2109, works as well as an existing treatment (leuprorelin) for reducing pelvic pain in endometriosis. About 288 premenopausal women with confirmed endometriosis will take part. The main goal is to see if KLH-2109 can lower daily pain scores over 12 weeks.
