First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether placing elastic therapeutic tape on the face and neck after wisdom tooth removal can help with recovery. 70 generally healthy people who needed an impacted lower wisdom tooth removed took part. After surgery, some received standard care while others also had the tape applied. Researchers measured pain, swelling, and mouth opening to see if the tape made a difference.
