Tape test: can a sticky strip make you jump higher?
NCT ID NCT07425223
First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether kinesiology tape, a special elastic tape placed on the skin, can immediately improve strength and performance in young female volleyball players. Twenty-four athletes will be randomly assigned to get either real tape or a fake (sham) tape, then do tests like hopping on one arm and throwing a medicine ball. The goal is to see if the tape actually helps or if it's just a placebo effect.
