New study aims to boost kidney transplant success during surgery

Summary
This study tests three different approaches given during donor surgery to improve how well a transplanted kidney works afterward. Sixty adults with end-stage kidney disease who are getting a living-donor transplant will take part. The methods include a drug called mannitol, another called dopamine, or extra fluids. The goal is to see which one leads to better kidney function right after transplant.
