NCT ID NCT07286071
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested two different tools used during surgery to remove kidney stones up to 20 mm. One is a traditional sheath that lets fluid and stone fragments flow out passively, and the other is a newer suction sheath that actively pulls out fragments. The goal was to see which tool clears stones better, shortens surgery time, and reduces complications like infection or injury. The study involved 140 adults and compared outcomes after surgery.
