Summary

This study tests whether a special ketone supplement (Kenetik) can reduce withdrawal symptoms in people undergoing alcohol detox. Fifty adults with alcohol use disorder will receive either the supplement or a placebo drink for 5 days. Researchers will measure how much standard withdrawal medication (benzodiazepines) is needed and track symptom scores.
