First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a ketogenic (low-carb, high-fat) diet helps people with rectal cancer stick to their diet plan during radiation therapy. About 194 participants will be randomly assigned to either a ketogenic diet or a standard diet. The main goal is to see how well patients follow the diet, and researchers will also check changes in body fat and muscle mass.
