NCT ID NCT07237763
First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether ketoconazole 2% cream, typically used for fungal infections, works as well as adapalene 2% cream for treating mild acne. About 52 people with mild comedonal or papulopustular acne will apply one of the two creams daily for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if ketoconazole can be a gentler option with fewer side effects.
