Summary
This study tested whether giving a low-dose ketamine drip after surgery could prevent depressive symptoms in 32 neurosurgical patients who had a history of depression. Researchers measured depression scores before surgery and for two weeks after. The main goal was to see if a larger trial is possible, not to prove the treatment works.
