Can therapy lock in Ketamine's pain relief?
NCT ID NCT05639322
Summary
This small, completed pilot study explored whether adding psychotherapy to ketamine treatment helps make pain relief last longer for people with chronic nerve pain. Thirty adults with moderate-to-severe nerve pain were randomly assigned to receive either ketamine infusions, psychotherapy, or a combination of both. The main goal was to see if this combined approach was safe, acceptable, and practical to study on a larger scale.
