First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This small study tested whether combining ketamine with a type of talk therapy called RO DBT is safe and helpful for adults with treatment-resistant depression. Sixteen people took part. The goal was to see if this combination could reduce depression symptoms and understand how it works in the brain. This was an early-stage study to check safety and feasibility, not a final treatment.
