First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a kaleidoscope or watching cartoons can reduce pain, fear, and anxiety in children aged 7-12 when they get a numbing shot at the dentist. 126 kids will be randomly assigned to use a kaleidoscope, watch cartoons, or receive standard care during the injection. The goal is to find simple, non-drug ways to make dental visits less stressful for children.
