NCT ID NCT07462364

First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a kaleidoscope or watching cartoons can lower pain, fear, and anxiety in children aged 7 to 12 when they get a numbing shot at the dentist. About 126 kids will be split into three groups: one uses a kaleidoscope, one watches cartoons, and one gets the shot as usual. The goal is to find simple, non-drug ways to make dental visits easier for children.
