First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 20, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether a daily 15 mL drink called JUICE HA® can improve muscle mass, strength, and quality of life in people aged 65 and older with sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss). Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the supplement or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure grip strength, walking speed, and other physical function tests to see if the supplement helps.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

JUICE HA® supplement

What this could lead to

If it works, this could point toward a simple daily supplement to help older adults maintain muscle strength and function.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-stage trial with only 60 participants. The supplement may show no benefit over placebo, and results may not apply to all older adults.
