Can a simple juice drink fight muscle loss in seniors?

NCT ID NCT06950125

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a daily 15 mL drink called JUICE HA® can improve muscle mass, strength, and quality of life in people aged 65 and older with sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss). Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the supplement or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure grip strength, walking speed, and other physical function tests to see if the supplement helps.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a simple daily supplement to help older adults maintain muscle strength and function.
