New triple therapy targets tough breast cancer in phase 3 trial

NCT ID NCT07207070

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a new drug (JS105) to two existing drugs (dalpiciclib and fulvestrant) helps people with a certain type of advanced breast cancer live longer without the disease getting worse. The cancer must have a PIK3CA mutation and be hormone-receptor-positive but HER2-negative. About 312 adults aged 18-75 with recurrent or metastatic breast cancer will take part. The goal is to see if the three-drug combo works better than the two-drug combo alone.
