Summary
This study tests a new drug, JNJ-78934804, against an existing treatment (guselkumab) in 644 people with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis, a chronic condition causing colon inflammation and ulcers. The goal is to see if the new drug can safely bring about remission (no symptoms and healed gut lining) by week 48. Participants must have had colitis for at least 12 weeks and meet specific disease activity scores.
