Summary
This study is testing a special blood filter during heart-lung bypass in children's open-heart surgery. The filter aims to remove harmful inflammatory substances from the blood, which could help control the body's overreaction to surgery and improve recovery. Researchers will enroll 20 children to see if using the filter is safe and practical, and if it leads to better outcomes like shorter hospital stays.
