First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether a medicine called IVIG can help very premature babies (born at 28 weeks or earlier) who are at risk for a serious lung condition called bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). About 29 babies will receive IVIG through a vein for several days. Researchers will check if this treatment reduces the severity of BPD and helps babies breathe better in the short and long term.
