New italian registry aims to unlock secrets of rare amyloidosis

Summary
This study is building a large online registry of 1,000 people with ATTR amyloidosis, a rare disease where abnormal proteins build up in organs. Researchers will collect information from diagnosis through follow-up to better understand how the disease progresses in real life. The goal is to create better tools for predicting outcomes and to help doctors across Italy share data and improve patient care.
