Acne drug vs. hormone shots: which can restore sperm?

NCT ID NCT07481370

First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests two treatments—oral isotretinoin (an acne medication) and hCG injections—to see if they can help men with low or no sperm count produce moving sperm. About 100 men aged 19 to 50 will receive one of the treatments for three months. The goal is to find new options for male infertility when standard treatments fail.
