Could an iron pill be the key to better sleep for kids with ADHD?
NCT ID NCT07061470
Summary
This study is testing whether taking daily iron supplements for three months can improve restless sleep and attention in children with ADHD who have low iron levels. Researchers will compare iron pills to placebo pills in 70 children, measuring sleep quality with a wearable leg band and attention with standard tests. The goal is to see if correcting low iron helps ease common sleep problems linked to ADHD.
