Could an iron pill be the key to better sleep for kids with ADHD?

NCT ID NCT07061470

Summary

This study is testing whether daily iron supplements for 3 months can improve restless sleep in children with ADHD who have low iron levels. Researchers will compare iron pills to placebo pills in 70 children, measuring sleep quality with wearable leg bands and tracking attention changes. The goal is to see if this simple, over-the-counter treatment can help ease both sleep difficulties and ADHD symptoms.
