NCT ID NCT07517562

First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026

Summary

This pilot study looks at why military personnel often have low iron levels during training and how to prevent it. Six physically active adults will receive either erythropoietin (EPO) or a placebo, then complete a 90-minute loaded march. Researchers will measure iron absorption to find the best way to track and improve iron status.
