First seen Nov 04, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tested a combination of two chemotherapy drugs, irinotecan and carboplatin, as the first treatment for children and adults newly diagnosed with intermediate- or high-risk rhabdomyosarcoma, a type of muscle cancer. The goal was to see if this drug pair could shrink tumors and be given safely before standard therapy. The trial enrolled 65 participants and is no longer recruiting new patients.
