Summary
This early-phase study tested the safety of combining a tumor-destroying procedure (IRE) with an immunotherapy drug (pembrolizumab) in 2 people with locally advanced pancreatic cancer that could not be removed by surgery. The goal was to see if the combination was safe enough to study further. Because this is a very small, early study, it does not prove the treatment works.
