Fiber gel may boost cancer immunotherapy in kidney cancer trial

Summary
This study tests whether adding a fiber gel (inulin) to standard immunotherapy drugs (ipilimumab and nivolumab) is safe and helps control advanced kidney cancer. About 55 adults with kidney cancer that has spread will receive the combination. The goal is to see if the fiber improves the immune system's ability to fight the cancer.
