Summary
This study tested a special device that sprays insulin into the nose to see how much gets into the brain. Insulin is a hormone that helps control blood sugar, but it may also affect memory. The study included 20 adults with mild memory problems or normal cognition. Researchers measured insulin levels in spinal fluid and checked memory with word recall tests.
