Summary
This study looked at whether immune cells from the intestine play a role in Sjogren's syndrome, an autoimmune disease that causes dry eyes and mouth. Researchers examined saliva gland samples from 57 adults suspected of having Sjogren's. The goal was to better understand the disease and possibly find new treatment ideas.
