Summary

This study tested whether an internet-based walking program with a pedometer could help veterans with COPD who cannot attend hospital rehab become more active. 146 veterans took part. The program aimed to increase daily steps and improve confidence in exercise. Results showed it helped boost physical activity compared to usual care.
