Online mindfulness shows promise for easing depression

Summary
This study tested whether an internet-based mindfulness training program could help reduce depression symptoms. 116 adults with clinical depression were randomly assigned to either the online mindfulness program or their usual care. The goal was to see if the program improved depressive symptoms and well-being right after the program and three months later.
