Can skipping meals help your pancreas? new diabetes study investigates
NCT ID NCT05717127
Summary
This study investigated whether intermittent fasting (periods of not eating) could improve how the pancreas works in people with early type 2 diabetes. Researchers enrolled 51 adults recently diagnosed with diabetes to test this eating pattern. The goal was to see if this lifestyle change could help the body's insulin-producing cells function better.
