Brain plaque attack: statin showdown aims to stop second strokes

Summary
This study tests whether high-dose statins can shrink or stabilize fatty plaques in brain arteries of people who recently had a stroke. About 100 participants will get intensive statin therapy and be monitored with special MRI scans to see changes in plaque size and composition. The goal is to reduce the risk of future strokes by controlling the underlying artery disease.
