First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at 22 adults with type 1 diabetes who use an insulin pump. It compared taking a fast-acting insulin (insulin aspart) just before a meal versus right after a meal. The goal was to see which timing leads to better blood sugar control over 14 days. The results help clarify a common question for people managing diabetes with pumps.
