Insulin strength showdown: does 200 Units/mL work like 100 Units/mL?
NCT ID NCT03903016
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tested whether a stronger version of insulin lispro (200 units per mL) works the same as the standard version (100 units per mL) in people with type 1 diabetes. Ninety adults received a single dose of each insulin in random order, and researchers measured how the body absorbed and responded to the insulin. The goal was to confirm the two strengths are equivalent, which could offer more convenient dosing options.
