Insulin strength showdown: does higher dose work the same?
NCT ID NCT03903016
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tested whether a higher-strength insulin lispro (200 U/mL) works the same as the standard strength (100 U/mL) in people with type 1 diabetes. 90 adults received a single dose of each insulin in random order, and researchers measured how the body absorbed and responded to them. The goal was to confirm the two formulations are equivalent, not to find a new treatment.
