Summary
This study is testing whether giving insulin in short weekly sessions can improve brain function and how the body processes sugar in people with Alzheimer's disease. Eight adults with Alzheimer's will receive the insulin treatment once a week for six months, with each session lasting up to two hours. Researchers will measure changes in memory, thinking skills, and brain sugar usage to see if this approach helps.
