Summary
This study tests whether giving a medicine called tirofiban through a vein before a procedure to remove a blood clot can help people recover better after a stroke caused by a blocked artery in the brain. About 870 adults with a certain type of stroke will take part. The goal is to see if the drug reduces long-term disability.
