New flu shot formula tested for better protection
NCT ID NCT06507553
Summary
This study tested an experimental flu vaccine that contains an extra H3 influenza strain, in addition to the standard recommended strains. It involved 400 healthy adults in two age groups (18-49 and 60+) to check if the vaccine is safe and if it triggers a good immune response. The older participants received a higher dose, and the study lasted about 3 weeks.
