First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compares two common therapy methods for stroke patients in the hospital: having physical and occupational therapy together (co-treatment) or separately (individual treatment). About 567 adults admitted for stroke will be randomly assigned to one approach. Researchers will measure how well patients can move and do daily activities by the time they leave the hospital.
