NCT ID NCT06694792
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study is looking for new ways to tell which pancreatic cysts (called IPMNs) are cancerous and which are harmless. Right now, many people have surgery to remove cysts that turn out to be benign, which can lead to complications. Researchers will study blood, fluid, and tissue samples from 800 patients to find markers that predict cancer. The goal is to create a tool that helps doctors make better treatment decisions.
