First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether a simple eye-ear sleep band could help heart patients in the coronary care unit sleep better. One hundred adults with acute coronary syndrome each spent one night with the band and one night without. Sleep quality was measured each morning using a questionnaire. The sleep band is a low-cost, non-drug tool that may improve sleep in a noisy, bright hospital setting.
