First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at 22 adults with epilepsy who have been on a modified Atkins diet for at least a year and have high cholesterol. Researchers want to see if changing the diet or adding a statin drug can safely lower cholesterol without causing seizures or making people stop the diet. The goal is to improve heart health while keeping seizure control.
