First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study aims to improve how doctors predict which patients with a weakened heart muscle and a leaky mitral valve will respond to treatments like medication or a valve repair device (MitraClip). Researchers will use advanced heart MRI scans to create personalized risk profiles. The study will follow 360 adults over 6 months to see how their heart function and symptoms change.
