First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested a program called Collaborative Decision Skills Training (CDST) to help veterans with serious mental illness, like schizophrenia or major depression with psychosis, become more involved in decisions about their care. 39 veterans took part in an initial small trial to see if the training was practical and helpful. The goal was to improve how veterans and their doctors work together, which may lead to better treatment engagement and recovery.
