This study looks at whether creating special committees made up of hospital staff, community members, and county leaders can help make blood more available for transfusions in Kenyan hospitals. The researchers are testing this approach in 9 hospitals across three different counties. The main goal is to see if more blood transfusion requests are actually filled when these committees are in place.
