Summary
This study tested whether having a hospital pharmacist interview lung cancer patients about their medications could reduce unplanned doctor visits or hospital stays. Sixty adults on chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or oral targeted therapy took part. Researchers tracked how many unscheduled consultations or hospitalizations occurred over six months.
