Summary

This study tested whether a daily supplement called Immulina, made from Spirulina, can help healthy people fight off upper respiratory viruses like the flu. Researchers measured natural killer cell activity and other immune markers in 492 healthy adults aged 18-59 and 65+. Participants took either Immulina or a placebo for 20 weeks to see if the supplement boosted their immune resilience.
