This study looked at whether iloprost, a drug used for high blood pressure in the lungs, can help obese patients maintain better oxygen levels during lung surgery when only one lung is being ventilated. The trial involved 78 obese adults scheduled for lung surgery. Researchers measured oxygen in the blood to see if the drug reduced breathing complications.
