Monthly vs. quarterly shot: which controls ovarian function better in young breast cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT07610733

First seen May 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at young women (ages 18-45) with hormone-sensitive breast cancer who are already on a 3-month hormone injection to suppress ovarian function. Researchers want to see if switching to a monthly injection keeps estrogen levels lower and more stable. About 100 participants will be randomly assigned to either stay on the 3-month shot or switch to the monthly one, with estrogen levels checked at 3 and 6 months.
